The Crystal Clear represents a new generation of PBXs. This new generation of PBX are often referred to as IP based PBXs. The 'IP' refers to the fact that they use the same Internet Protocol (IP) that you use when surfing the internet or sending an email. The most obvious implication is that using an IP based PBX allows you to make phone calls over the Internet as well as over the tradional Public Switched Telecomunications Network PSTN (i.e. AT&T, Telecom Italia, Bezeq etc).

At one level an Crystal Clear is no different to your existing Phone System and it is in fact designed to replace your existing phone systems. Crystal Clear can work with your old analogue handset but generally we recommend upgrading to IP-based handsets. When upgrading to Crystal Clear you will find that it supports ALL of your existing features plus a host of new ones.

The real benefits of the Crystal Clear are in the set of features included 'out of the box' along with its extreme flexibility.

Traditional Phone Systems for Small Business offer a very limited set of features and every time you want to do something different you have to buy another add on or you find that your Phone system doesn't offer that feature and you will have to replace it completely.
